# Diagnostics in remote environments

Physicians’ offices and remotely located labs typically experience the following challenges with equipment and supplies while results need to be reliable and fast:

 

- Need for frequent calibration
- Contamination of samples during pipetting or transfer
- Lack of a controlled environment
- need for water

 

Additionally, training dedicated resources in remote locations has proven to be challenging. Therefore the systems and tests provided need to have a low complexity level.
